A moist crumbly cheese scattered generously with juicy sweet and sour cranberries, it looks great and tastes even better; all fruit and cream cut with a refreshing acid tang. This is a proper Yorkshire Wensleydale handmade in Hawes in Yorkshire and deserves pride of place on your cheeseboard.

Strathdon Blue

A lovely rich mellow blue with just the right amount of mouth tingling sharpness. Made in a converted brewery near Tain, Strathdon has won many awards and is so good it will probably bag more. Definitely one for your ‘must try’ list.

Said to be Scotland’s oldest cheese, this very rich cheese is made from double cream and rolled in toasted oatmeal. Mild and slightly sour, it’s all buttery creaminess with a nutty chewy edge.
