This soft and creamy cheese is a on the mild side, with a little edge of sweetness and a bit of pungency. It comes wrapped up in an orange rind, which you can eat too, indeed it would be a crime not to. It’s an everyday cheese – if you like your everyday cheese to be pretty special – so you make like the French and enjoy a nibble whenever you want.

What with? This Normandy cheese goes well with French cider and is also rather nice with a Merlot. Melts wonderfully into a fondue or on a croque monsieur or Welsh rarebit.
